Leominster Food Bank

Leominster Food Bank is run by volunteers and relies on donations to provide food bags for those who need them. The Food Bank is located at The Old Priory, Church Street, Leominster HR6 8EQ. It is next door to the Youth Hostel.

To access a food bag from Leominster Food Bank, you need a voucher from a referring organisation such as Social Care, your Housing Association, Age UK or your child’s school or from a support worker who is supporting you. If you do not have an organization or support worker who can refer you, you can get a voucher by taking a form of ID and proof of low income to a food bank session. These are on a Tuesday and Friday from 11am-12pm. Please note, you will be asked to provide a form of ID and proof of low income.

In addition, ANYONE can come between from 2pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays to access the ‘food share’, which gives away free, fresh food such as bread and vegetables from local supermarkets. No voucher or appointment is required for this food but it is dependent on donations that day and cannot be guaranteed.

Barons Cross Community Notice Board

Our thanks go to Herefordshire Council’s Talk Community Hub Seed Funding programme, for funding the installation of a new community notice board at the Barons Cross Community Room. We hope that this notice board will be a helpful source of information on events, activities and support services for local residents.

Talk Community drop-in surgeries also take place once a month in the Barons Cross Community Room on Portna Way, where support and advice are available from a range of organisations.

Join us for one of our upcoming events:
